Former Mets and Rangers manager Bobby Valentine has expressed interest in leading Team USA in future World Baseball Classics. He believes that his experience as a manager in Japan would help him lead the United States to success in the international tournament. "There would be some kind of value that I'd bring to the party because I'd know the talent, or most of it, from Japan," Valentine said. "I could do some things differently. I think the attitude would be different. "I think [Team Japan] would be a bit worried about me against them," Valentine said.
