Oil Can Boyd, 49, has informed the Boston Globe that he will throw before a few major league scouts soon in hopes of making it back to the big leagues.
"The ball is coming out of my hand free and easy for the first time in years," Boyd said. "I just want to prove I can throw 100 pitches for 30 starts and dominate."
