Both the Giants and Tim Lincecum have said that discussions on a contract extension are not active, but that could change rather quickly. "Nothing's going on right now," Lincecum said Sunday. He added that the business side of baseball concerns him "very little. I'm just worried about the season. What I hear, I hear about from my agent [Rick Thurman] and I haven't heard anything. I'm just playing the waiting game." Lincecum, the reigning National League Cy Young winner, was 18-5 with a 2.62 ERA and a Major League-high 265 strikeouts last season.
