Blue Jays general manager J.P. Ricciardi maintains that the team is close to signing free-agent Kevin Millar. "We're still talking to him and hopeful of getting things done within the next couple of days," Ricciardi said Tuesday. "We're real close. It's just some wording in the contract, last-minute hurdles that you always go through with deals like this. "I'm confident something will get done."
