The Braves haven't made any splashes yet this offseason, but GM Frank Wren is adamant about improving the team's roster.
"We're involved in a lot of discussions, on both the free agent and trade fronts," Wren said Monday, "and we still are optimistic about our club."
Atlanta has expressed interest in free-agent pitchers ranging from Derek Lowe to Andy Pettitte and Jon Garland.
Lowe would command more money than either Pettitte or Garland.
