The Dodgers appear to lead the race to sign free-agent slugger Manny Ramirez, who hasn't generated nearly as much interest as was expected. Ned Colletti met with Scott Boras, Ramirez's agent, late Monday night. It marked the first time the two had discussed Ramirez formally since Nov. 4, when Colletti made a two-year, $45 million offer to Ramirez. That offer was rescinded a few days later. "(Boras) said that Manny would still like to play for the Dodgers, but that it all depended on the terms and the finances," Colletti said. "That was the entire conversation. I said, 'Thank you for the information.' "
