The Marlins don't expect to swing any major deals at this year's winter meetings. "Are we going to steal the headlines?" asked Larry Beinfest, the Marlins' president of baseball operations. "It's not something I think is on the horizon right now." The Marlins have no intention of trading their biggest star, Hanley Ramirez, who has a new, six-year contract. And, barring some outrageous offer, it appears that second baseman Dan Uggla is also staying put.
