If the Cubs are going to acquire pitcher Jake Peavy, it will take some seriously maneuvering by GM Jim Hendry. Chicago would have to shed some hefty contracts, perhaps that of Rich Harden or Jason Marquis, in order to make room for Peavy on the payroll. There have been rumors that the Orioles could become the third team in a proposed deal involving Peavy and the Cubs.
