The Dodgers are offering Rafael Furcal a two-year contract for about $25 to 30 million, according to a person familiar with their thinking. However, a source close to Furcal said "they know that isn't going to fly." Furcal is said to have interest from "eight to 10" teams after hitting .357 in an injury-shortened 2008 season. The Orioles and Royals are believed to be two of the other teams involved.
