Phillies' starter Jamie Moyer is very excited to be a part of the World Series in his home state. "It's really nice to have this experience and have it in Philadelphia," said Moyer, who was a teenager when the team last won the World Series in 1980. Moyer is slated to start Game 3 for the Phillies against the Rays at Citizens Bank Park. However, he is responsible for the team's only two losses in this postseason. "Moyer won a lot of games for us this year. He's one of the reasons why we are where we're at," manager Charlie Manuel said. "He'll pitch against whoever we play."
