Braves' Manager Bobby Cox says the team will pursue a pair of starting pitchers this winter, according to Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "Pitching, pitching, and more pitching," Cox said Friday when asked what would get the team back into contention. "Good pitching will cover up a lot of other points. When you don?t have [pitching], everything else becomes critical." Whether through a trade or free agency, Cox hopes to fortify the rotation. "We?re hoping Tommy [Glavine] and [John] Smoltz come back at some point," he added, "but we?re not going to bank on it. We?re going to still add [pitching] before that."
