Cubs' pitching coach Larry Rothschild has downplayed any injury concerns surrounding starting pitcher Carlos Zambrano, according to Chicago Sun-Times. "He's not in any pain at all," Rothschild said. "He's gone through this [arm fatigue] every year for the last four or five years. His arm feels tired. But he was feeling better today. He threw long toss [Saturday] and again [Sunday], and he feels a lot better." Zambrano is expected to start Tuesday or Wednesday against the Astros.
