Phillies' pitcher Jamie Moyer wants to continue pitching into next season and will be a free agent this winter, according to Philadelphia Inquirer. Moyer, 45, is 11-7 with a 3.81 ERA this season. "We've chatted with him, but we thought it was most appropriate to kind of wait until the end of the season to move forward on anything," Phillies' Assistant GM Ruben Amaro Jr. said. "But he has expressed that he is pitching next year and beyond, probably." "But we'd be crazy not to think that he'd be able to help us next year. But again, that doesn't mean he's going to be back."
