Giants general manager Brian Sabean said on Tuesday that he doesn't feel the need to rush their pitching prospects through their system, according to The San Francisco Chronicle. "Every season everybody doesn't have to pitch at every level to get to the big leagues," Sabean said. "I think it's more important for them to have a good season where they are and build off that for next year. Whatever that brings next year, we'll see." Sabean also sees little need to acquire a starter, saying, "I think we're going to be covered from within. Guys are going to matriculate as the normal progression allows."
