Dodgers' shortstop Rafael Furcal would like to sign a contract extension with the team this winter, according to The Los Angeles Times. "They're definitely the No. 1 choice," agent Paul Kinzer said. If Furcal files for free agency as expected, he wouldn't be able to negotiate with other teams until more than two weeks after the World Series. "If we get a fair offer, we'll have something done by then," he said. "He's not necessarily saying he has to test the market."
