Dodgers outfielder Juan Pierre has realized that the arrival of Manny Ramirez in town means that he'll be playing a lot less over the final two months of the season, according to The Los Angeles Daily News. "I wouldn't say I'm disappointed, but they put me in a difficult position," Pierre admitted. He has complied 307 at-bats so far this season, tallying a .280 average, 24 runs batted in and 37 stolen bases. "I wouldn't say it's bad, but it's been difficult. You go on the bench, and then you work your way back in the lineup and possibly going back to the bench. All I've ever done is be Juan Pierre when I wear this jersey. They're sticking it to me this year for whatever reason," Pierre added. "When you have a chance to get Manny Ramirez, you have to get him. But from a personal standpoint, it's a touchy position for me."
