Johnny Damon is likely headed to the disabled list with a bruised and sprained left shoulder, according to The Star-Ledger. "If we lost him, it would be huge," pitcher Darrell Rasner said. "Johnny's everything for us. He gets us going. He's a huge spark for us." He was injured Friday afternoon when he attempted a leaping catch out in left field. He hit the wall, which knocked the ball out of his glove and on top of the fence. It ended up as a two-run triple for Kevin Youkilis. "There was a time when I was a very quick healer," Damon said, "and I hope it's here again."
