Chicago White Sox outfielder Jermaine Dye and Colorado Rockies infielder Jeff Baker have been named the Players of the Week for the period ending June 22nd. Dye hit .417 (10-24) with three doubles, five home runs and 13 RBI. The 34-year-old outfielder posted a 1.167 slugging percentage along with a .440 on-base percentage. During a three-game Interleague series against the Pittsburgh Pirates, Dye went 5-for-11 with three home runs and nine RBI, including a multi-homer game on June 19th. Baker, who celebrated his 27th birthday on Saturday, went 10-for-23 for a .435 batting average and posted a slugging percentage of 1.043 and an on-base percentage of .480. His 10 hits included four home runs and two doubles. The versatile infielder/outfielder recorded seven RBI and scored eight runs. Jeff homered in four consecutive games from June 17th-20th.
