Los Angeles Dodgers' second baseman Jeff Kent has been hot over the last week or so. In his last seven games heading into Friday?s action, Kent is 8-27 (.296) with four home runs, four RBI, and four runs scored. He ranks fourth among second basemen in home runs with eight and is tied for 11th in RBI with 27. Kent is a good power option at a non-traditional power position if he is already on your roster or available through waivers. I wouldn?t go trade for him because outside of the top tier, second basemen are fairly even, and you would still have to deal with a lack of speed and below average batting average from Kent.
