Mets' starter Pedro Martinez is scheduled to make his return to the mound on June 3 against the Giants after missing the last two months with a hamstring injury, according to ESPN.com. Last week Martinez told a New York newspaper that he was considering retirement but later claimed that he would like to pitch at least two more years. "I feel great physically, and for the record, I haven't considered retirement. Retirement would only take place if my arm is badly hurt and if I have to face surgery or something near that nature," Martinez said.
