Back spasms forced Braves' third baseman Chipper Jones to miss the team's game on Sunday, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "I don't know; it feels like I've got a rib out [of place] or something," said Jones. He's hitting .417 this season, the highest average in the Majors in 50 years this late into the season. His back issues flared up on Saturday night when he was playing with his children. "It's better now," he said before Sunday's game. "The spasms are gone. But the pain is in more of an isolated spot. I got adjusted three times already today, got a bunch of treatment." But, he added, "There's still a tremendous amount of pain when I rotate."
