The Rockies are looking to fortify their starting rotation and have had discussions regarding Cincinnati's Josh Fogg and Boston's Julian Tavarez, according to the Denver Post. They have also been loosely linked to Oakland's Rich Harden and Joe Blanton, in addition to Kevin Millwood of Texas. "It's early in the year, and there are a lot of clubs sorting through issues, and when they get through them that's about the same time that Hirsh, Morales, and Reynolds should be ready to help us. So I am trying to find one guy for six or seven starts," General Manager Dan O'Dowd said. Fogg pitched in ten games for the Rockies last season.
