Ben Sheets is feeling better after leaving a start on Friday night's game with tightness in his right triceps, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.
He threw just 60 pitches over five innings, but was pulled after complaining of pain for a few innings.
"I feel a little better than that, but it's still in there," Sheets said. "It's not better than I hoped, but better than I thought."
"We don't foresee him missing any extended time," manager Ned Yost said. "You try to be extra careful knowing his history, and tightness is a precursor to an injury if it persists."
"We have to sit down and look at it and see what's best for all of us. I suppose (missing a start) is always a possibility. I don't know if it's a necessity, but is it a possibility? Sure," he added.
