Reliever Joba Chamberlain rejoined the Yankees on Saturday night in Baltimore after missing the team's last six games to be with his ailing father, according to MLB.com. "He's landed and he's on his way over," Manager Joe Girardi said. "He's excited to be back, and probably the best news is that just means his father's doing better, and that's what we want." Starter Ian Kennedy managed to get through just 2.2 innings on Saturday night against the Orioles, but Girardi might opt to wait on bringing Joba out of the pen so soon.
