1. Alex Rodriguez: With Barry Bonds on the shelf, there is no arguing that ARod is the game?s most productive hitter. He leads the MLB in both home runs and RBI?s. 2. Bobby Abreu: Abreu has been one of the only things that the city of Philadelphia has been able to look at as a positive side of late. 3. Albert Pujols: The National League?s version of Alex Rodriguez. 4. Brian Roberts: As expected, his power numbers have gone way down, as it has been over a week since his last home run. 5. Dustin Hermanson: A perfect ERA two months into the season. The closer the Giants wish they still had. 6. Derek Lee: Lee has cooled down as the Cubs have gotten better pitching. 7. Miguel Cabrera: Even better this season with Delgado in the lineup. 8. Roger Clemens His win record will mimic Randy Johnson?s last season, when the Big Unit played for a horrible Diamondbacks team that could never give him runs. 9. Dontrelle Willis: Out of the sophomore slump and the best left-hander in the game not named Johan or Randy, though he is pitching better than either at the moment. 10. Carlos Lee: The Brewers? Lee is an RBI monster this season, well on pace to exceed his previous high of 113 in 2003. 11. Jon Garland: Leading the MLB with wins and holding a stellar ERA. 12. Johan Santana: His ERA is up and so are his strikeouts. 13. Troy Glaus: Glaus is a lethal third baseman when healthy, and this year he?s healthy. 14. Joe Nathan: The other closer the Giants wish they still had. 15. Roy Halladay: His stuff is as good as it has ever been. 16. Miguel Tejada: Any claims on Tejada made by Jose Canseco are falling on deaf ears with the kind of juggernaut numbers he is putting up. 17. Mark Buehrle: Getting overshadowed on the White Sox rotation by Garland. 18. David Ortiz: The Sox are struggling, but Ortiz is certainly not. 19. B.J. Ryan: Ryan has been automatic this year for the frontrunning Orioles. 20. Cliff Floyd: With Piazza slumping and Beltran not where he was in last year?s postseason, Floyd is single-handedly keeping the Mets in games. 21. Jake Peavy: The best pitcher that few have heard of. He has Cy Young stuff and will win one, particularly if he keeps throwing at Petco Park. 22. Josh Beckett: Beckett is having his best season to date. 23. Milton Bradley: His numbers are finally matching his talent. 24. Mark Teixeira One of the best first basemen in the AL and probably not the best hitter on the right side of the Rangers? infield. 25. Clint Barnes: He has cooled down a bit and gets the honor of being last of the best.
