The posters on the Visit our MLB Player Comparison board are ranking the top 100 baseball players of all-time and we would love to have you participate in the discussion.
Here are the rankings so far:
1. Babe Ruth
2. Barry Bonds
3. Willie Mays
4. Ted Williams
5. Hank Aaron
6. Ty Cobb
7. Mickey Mantle
8. Honus Wagner
9. Walter Johnson
10. Lou Gehrig (Vote Off Winner)
11. Stan Musial (Vote Off Runner-Up)
12. Cy Young
13. Joe Dimaggio
14. Roger Clemens
Babe Ruth was an obvious choice for the #1 slot but there have been voices of dissent regarding Bonds in the second position.
Bonds has never been suspended by the league for performance enhancing drugs and his statistical output is staggering. I personally am not a big Bonds fan but still believe it was right to put him in the #2 spot.
Bonds' godfather, Willie Mays, grabbed the #3 spot, which seemed like an ideal position.
Perhaps Hank Aaron should be ahead of Ted Williams, but either one is deserving for that fourth spot.
Now current players such as Alex Rodriguez and Ken Griffey Jr. are being nominated for upcoming slots.
Please check in with the MLB Player Comparisons board to join the discussion and to vote.
