It has gently tickled his nose throughout his 15-year Major League career and today that well-groomed mustache that rests above Jeff Kent?s upper lip is getting its? recognition. According to a survey of players, managers and owners around the MLB, Jeff Kent has the best moustache in baseball. It what is said to be a landslide, Kent?s facial caterpillar didn?t even have a runner-up. ?I am honored to receive this most prestigious reward.? Said an elated Kent from his luxurious Bel Air home. ?There have been times when I thought about shaving it off. I wouldn?t have thrown it away of course, but sometimes I felt I needed a change. Today I realize that keeping the moustache was the right thing to do.? Many around the MLB have criticized Kent for being a bad leader and a bit of a jerk in the clubhouse. Some have even associated Kent?s mustache with his bad attitude. To that Kent had the following to say: ?Sure, some people don?t get along with me, some of them don?t like the moustache, I can handle that. I think the problem they have is that the moustache represents discipline, and some people cannot deal with that.?
