Outfielder Scott Podsednik, who has been sidelined since Aug. 12 due to a strained left groin, was activated from the 15-day DL. The White Sox also recalled pitcher Jeff Bajenaru from Triple-A Charlotte of the International League and optioned pitcher Jon Adkins and outfielder Brian Anderson to Charlotte. The 29-year-old Podsednik, who was acquired in an offseason trade with Milwaukee, is hitting .282 with a major league-leading 54 stolen bases in 99 games. He also leads the American League with 31 infield hits and 13 bunt hits.
