Yankees first baseman Andy Phillips will have surgery on his fractured right wrist on Tuesday and miss four to six weeks. Phillips suffered the injury in the bottom of the fifth inning when he was plunked by Devil Rays righthander Jason Hammel. After remaining in the contest and scoring on Melky Cabrera's double, Phillips was replaced by Wilson Betemit in the top of the sixth. The team originally deemed his injury a deep bruise but tests on Monday revealed a more serious problem.
