Look for the Chicago White Sox, who as an American League Central Division rival play the Twins 18 times during the regular season, to make a big effort to sign Torii Hunter if the all-star center fielder isn't re-signed by the Twins. Hunter, 32, who is the Twins' only .300 hitter and has 26 home runs and 90 runs batted in, could end up with a $75 million, five-year contract. The Twins are expected to offer $45 million for three years.
