Edgar Renteria's comeback from a high ankle sprain lasted only one pitch Wednesday night before he had to leave the game. Shifting his weight back onto his right foot while taking a pitch from Reds pitcher Bronson Arroyo was all it took to end Renteria's night after missing three weeks. The Braves will re-evaluate his ankle Thursday before making a decision whether he needs to go back on the disabled list. Renteria, who was activated before Wednesday's game, had been testing his ankle all week with running and cutting drills, by hitting and taking grounders. Not until he reacted to the pitch, though, did he realize what could happen.
