The Diamondbacks on Wednesday signed their first-round pick in this June's draft, righthanded pitcher Jarrod Parker. The 18-year-old Parker was the ninth overall pick in the first round. "We are excited to add another quality prospect to our system," said Josh Byrnes, the Diamondbacks' senior VP and GM. "We look forward to introducing Jarrod sometime next week."
