Carl Crawford doesn't believe his sprained right wrist will prompt a trip to the disabled list, but that was about the extent of his optimism Sunday. Held out of the starting lineup for the second consecutive game, Crawford did see action as a ninth-inning defensive replacement for Jonny Gomes in left field, but his wrist is nowhere near 100 percent. Crawford said he will get an MRI exam today and give his wrist at least another day of rest before he attempts to test it out. "I'm just leaving it alone right now," he said. "It hurts just to grip the bat, so I haven't even picked up a bat yet."
