The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim placed righthander Bartolo Colon on the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday. The 2005 Cy Young Award winner had an MRI on the injured appendage on Tuesday afternoon which showed a posterior impingement on the right elbow. The Angels medical staff said Colon will continue to receive therapy.
