Right-hander Aaron Sele, released earlier in the week by Seattle, was signed to a minor league contract by the Texas Rangers on Saturday. Sele will pitch for Triple-A Oklahoma next week. Sele, who pitched for the Rangers from 1998-99, was released by the Mariners last Monday. The 35-year-old was 6-12 with a 5.66 ERA in 21 starts this season. He lost a career-worst seven straight starts after being 6-5 on June 25.
