Baltimore Orioles shortstop Miguel Tejada will miss more than a month with a broken bone in his left wrist, which he suffered June 20 and ended his consecutive-games streak at 1,152. The extended time away greatly reduces the Orioles' ability to trade Tejada by the July 31 deadline, at which point he likely will be on a rehabilitation assignment. After an MRI exam on Tuesday, it was determined Tejada will wear a splint for two weeks and will be able to begin participating in baseball activity in a month. "It's pretty tough for me," Tejada said. "I like to play baseball. What can I say? It's nothing I can worry about."
