The Blue Jays have no less than seven of the first 88 picks in the MLB Draft. The Jays select 16th and 21st in the first round; then they have three sandwich picks at 38th, 45th and 56th and finally they have two in the second, 85th and 88th, before the draft resumes its normal order. "Without having the sheets in front of me, we probably have about 125 guys in the mix as possibles," scouting director Jon Lalonde said. This is his fourth draft and by far his busiest. "I've racked up quite a few frequent flyer miles and Marriott points," Lalonde said.
