Mets' pitcher Mike Pelfrey allowed one run, four hits and no walks Wednesday night against Albuquerque. Since being sent down to Class AAA New Orleans on May 13, he has a 1.54 earned run average in 11 2/3 innings. Assistant general manager John Ricco said the results are misleading. Pelfrey is continuing to struggle with commanding his fastball and has been undermined by high pitch counts in both outings. Pelfrey was 0-5 with a 6.53 E.R.A. in six starts with the Mets. ?He?s getting positive outings, and that?s good to see after being 0-5,? Ricco said. ?That?s good for his confidence.?
