The Atlanta Braves placed right fielder Ronald Acuna Jr. on the 10-day injured list with a strained left hamstring, the team announced Sunday.

Manager Walt Weiss told reporters that an MRI revealed that Acuna has a Grade 1 hamstring strain, adding that "all things considered it could have been a lot worse."

Acuna left Saturday night's game against the Colorado Rockies in the second inning after he pulled up about halfway down the first-base line running out a ground ball and grabbed at his left hamstring.
