Mets righthander Juan Padilla will undergo surgery on his right elbow on Friday. The operation, which will be performed at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan, will repair a partial tear of his flexor tendon. The 30-year-old Padilla missed all of last season after undergoing elbow surgery last March. He made one appearance in spring training.
