Marlins third baseman Miguel Cabrera on Monday won the first NL Player of the Week award for the 2007 season. In six games, Cabrera batted .500 (11-for-22) with two homers, four doubles, eight RBI and seven runs scored. The huge week comes on the heels of another stellar season for Cabrera in 2006. He batted .339 with career bests of 26 homers and 114 RBI in 158 games.
