Brewers ace Ben Sheets will pitch the season opener for the fifth time in his career.
The Brewers start April 2 against the Dodgers.
Sheets started four openers in a row before beginning last
season on the disabled list and missing half the season with
shoulder problems. He finished last year 6-7 with a 3.82 ERA.
"I just needed to see that he was healthy," manager Ned Yost
said. "That's all I was worried about."
