Arizona outfielder Carlos Quentin has a small tear in the labrum of his left shoulder and might open the season on the disabled list. Quentin injured his non-throwing shoulder during a swing in an exhibition game March 16. Quentin won't swing a bat for at least a week and isn't expected to need surgery.
