The Marlins had their eye on reliever Jorge Julio in 2005 when they were engaged in trade deadline discussions with the Orioles involving starting pitcher A.J. Burnett. According to a report in The East Valley (Ariz.) Tribune, the Marlins might continue to have interest in the Arizona Diamondbacks' right-hander, possibly as a trade target to plug Florida's yet-to-be-determined closer's spot.
