Mike Trout wasn't in the lineup for the Los Angeles Angels on Monday night as he deals with a bruised left hand.

Trout was hit on the hand by a pitch Sunday. Both X-rays and an MRI were negative for a fracture.

Joe Maddon said he considered Trout day-to-day.
