Fernando Tatis, Jr. landed on the injured list three times this past season with shoulder issues, but will not have surgery this offseason.

He suffered a left shoulder subluxation in April, May and late July. After his third stint on the IL, the San Diego Padres moved him from shortstop to right field in order to protect the shoulder.

Tatis just finished his first full Major League season, hitting .282/.364/.611 with 31 doubles, 42 homers, 97 RBI, 99 runs, 25 steals and 6.6 WAR. He is a finalist for National League MVP.
