Barry Bonds returned to the Giants on Monday after missing two days of workouts and at least one game because of what he now is being told is a bout with bronchitis. Bonds took batting practice on the main field at Scottsdale Stadium on Monday while many of his teammates bused to Tucson to play a Cactus League game against the Diamondbacks. The Giants play another home game on Tuesday against the Angels, and Bonds said it was highly doubtful he would play. "No, man," he told MLB.com after the brief workout in the batting cage. "I'm just happy I was able to get out there and take some swings. I'm just glad to get out of the house and deal with the sickness and the pain."
