The MLB has postponed Friday's game between the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals after a player on the Cardinals tested positive for COVID-19.

MLB said the postponed game would allow for additional testing and contact tracing.

The Cardinals have not played since July 29 as they had seven players test positive for COVID-19.

Among the players who confirmed they tested positive for COVID-19 were two All-Stars, catcher Yadier Molina and Paul DeJong.
