Cincinnati Reds shortstop Rich Aurilia has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring. Aurilia?s roster spot will be taken by right-hander Elizardo Ramirez from Triple-A Louisville. Prior to being injured, Aurilia was struggling only batting .198. His injury opens the way for Felipe Lopez to take over at shortstop.
