White Sox shortstop Juan Uribe said Saturday he plans to report on time for spring training and that his legal problems in his native Dominican Republic will be resolved in a few days. "I'm confident this will clear up soon and will not affect my plans to be on time to the Sox [spring training] camp," Uribe told ESPNdeportes.com. "Monday will be key in the case because the accuser is going to present the alleged witnesses against me. I'm innocent, so I'm sure that nobody can testify they saw me in an event where I wasn't present."
